Rather, they are all good for different types of learners. My conclusion is the following: none of them is ‘the best’ way to learn German online. Having tried all three softwares / apps for learning German, I have summarised their advantages and disadvantages. Babbel is relatively cheap, and Duolingo is for free. Which of them is best for learning a new language like German? They are all very different in their pricing structure. I have compared the famous RosettaStone software, Babbel and Duolingo. But apps like Babbel or Duolingo definitely help you improve on your vocab. It may be hard to become fluent in German only by using online courses and apps – without having an online tutor or a real teacher.
